Types of Rashes

Measles are categorized as either regular or hard, and they are different compared to German measles. Usually a vaccine is used to prevent it from occurring. Once the child gets affected with this virus, then it is visible for at least 10 to 12 days.

Roseola Infantum

Human Herpes virus 6 causes Roseola Infantum and it affects children of age below 2 years. Common symptom of this condition is high fever, which runs from 2 to 5 days. Once the fever fades away, the rash starts to appear. This rash is pink in color and has lesions; it starts from stomach and spreads through the body.


Eczema is caused by two reasons, first is genetic structure and the other is due to food. Usually toddlers with dry skin texture get affected eczema and it is called atopic dermatitis. Children with such conditions come with red rashes, itching around knees, neck and other parts of the body. This makes the child restless and makes it hard for them to sleep through the night.


Bathe your child in lukewarm water and make use of mild soaps. Use cotton clothing and rely on a good quality moisturizer.
